By considering the symbolic language of stars and planets, and their relation to earthly patterns of life, people may make illumined decisions as they move through life -- employing intelligence, free will, and informed choice.

An astrological consultation is one vehicle for striving toward the ideal articulated by the ancient Greeks: Gnothe Se, Know Thyself. That advice remains as worthwhile now in the 21st Century as it was thousands of years ago.

Steven McFadden has been student of astrology for over 25 years, and has counseled hundreds of people. He is a member of the Santa Fe Astrology Forum, and a former columnist for Welcome to Planet Earth, a respected astrology magazine.

Noted for clarity, practicality, and intuitive insight, Steven gives clients objective feedback — in plain English — on what they are currently experiencing as mirrored in the Sky Signs, with specific attention to the forces and circumstances that are poised to bear upon a client's life.

While Steven has a busy schedule as a journalist, teacher, and healer, he does consult as time allows. Steven offers tape-recorded sessions in person in Santa Fe, or over the telephone with people in the US and abroad.

All readings, whether in person or over the telephone, are recorded on audiocassette. Each client receives this tape and a printed copy of their personal horoscope.

How to proceed
Before sending an e-mail to arrange a consultation, please determine the location, date, and time of your birth. Accurate birth time - to the minute - is essential for an accurate horoscope; an accurate horoscope is essential for a worthwhile consultation.

If neither you nor your parents recall this information, seek a copy of your birth certificate or birth registration. Contact the hospital where you were born, or the town or city clerk in the municipality where you were born. This is a routine request for them, and usually involves a small fee ($5-$10).
