Greetings of Peace
From One Land of Enchantment

I walk the mountains — on the trail at first and then off into the wilderness — to find the place that was shown in vision.

In this place, in this season, near sacred waters, I Send A Voice: peace, understanding, gratitude, universal respect for the earth which sustains us all, no matter the color of our skin or the name of our faith. This is the vision. This is the song. This is the time for the singing.

Deep in the natural world, I experience in memory an echo of the words spoken at the United Nations in 1994 by the late Leon Shenandoah, Tadadaho for the Haudenausenee (Iroquois Six Nations):

"We must stand together, the four sacred colors of humanity, as the one family that we are, in the interest of peace. We must unite the religions of the world as a spiritual force strong enough to prevail in peace. We human beings are a spiritual energy that is thouands of times stronger than nuclear energy. Our energy is the combined will of all the people with the spirit of the natural world, to be of one body, one heart, and one mind for peace."

Chiron Communications 2003 SCHEDULE

January 25-26, 2003 - Level I Reiki Training: Healing with Heart and Hands. Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese word meaning universal life energy — the energy that flows through all living things. It is also the name of a simple, effective technique for healing via the laying-on of hands. Reiki is a natural method of healing with the use of this basic life energy.

Everyone can heal by laying-on of hands. The Reiki system for doing this is based on a 2,500-year-old tradition that allows practitioners to consciously direct energy for the benefit of other living beings. Learn this approach and then for the entirety of your life it will serve you, your family, and all who need a healing touch.

Instructor Steven McFadden has 24 years experience with Reiki. Classes will be held just South of Santa Fe, NM, 10 AM to 4 PM both Saturday and Sunday. The cost of the training is $150. April 5-6, 2003 - Level II Reiki Training: Healing at a Higher Level. In Santa Fe, NM. The Reiki II class is for students who have already completed Level I training, and who are ready to take a quantum leap in their ability. The instruction and the attunements you receive in this class will spark a many-fold leap in your capacity to channel Reiki. Each person who completes this 2-day program will receive a certificate.

Reiki Master Steven McFadden has 24 years experience as a practitioner, and has been a Reiki Master since 1990. He helped John Harvey Gray and Lourdes Gray write their new book: Hand to Hand: The Oldest Living Reiki Master Tells His Story (2002 ). He is also a certified yoga instructor, and serves as director of Chiron Communications.

May 2-4: Earth Walk Gathering in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Steven McFadden will offer three teaching segments over the weekend. Friday evening: Legend of Rainbow Warriors. Long ago spiritual elders from the Americas, Australia, and Tibet foresaw a time when the Earth would be in profound distress: socially, politically, and environmentally — with wars circling the globe. As they foresaw it, at this crucial juncture, human beings of all colors, nationalities, and spiritual traditions would be challenged to rise to their full spiritual potential and contribute their gifts in support of the circle of life. We will meet in a circle so we may clearly recognize and hear each other. With story, sound, breath, movement, and meditation, we will explore the legend of the rainbow warriors and its urgent relevance to our lives and our times.

Saturday: Steps Along the Earth Path: Principles and Practice of the Spiritual Journey. In ancient times people set out on pilgrimage for spiritual growth and development, or to direct their efforts in support of someone, or some situation at home. In our time, arising out of global necessity, pilgrimage is taking on a different character: pilgrims often journey to Sacred Sites not for themselves alone, but rather to direct their prayers and sacrifice in support of a gravely troubled Earth. With story, discussion, and a walking meditation, we will explore a range of important teachings on pilgrimage arising since the birth of the White Buffaloes.

Inner Pilgrimage: An Immediate Challenge for Every Soul on Earth. On Sunday with group discussion, and several intensive guided exercises, we will journey inward to apprehend and appreciate the phases and forces at work upon our lives. By meeting this challenge as individuals, we perform a deed of high service for the Circle of Life.
